Meet Anouk
Hi! Nice that there's a website, but who am I?
I am Anouk, nickname Snouk - currently 32 and living in Koog aan de Zaan together with my dog and husband.
I have been singing my whole life. I was 7 when I joined a children's choir and from that moment on I wanted to become a famous singer. That dream has since been adjusted somewhat, but it did ensure that I auditioned at a Conservatory and I successfully completed this study in 2013.
After my studies I worked on a number of short-term productions/projects and I gained a lot of experience in teaching. Both group lessons and private lessons, both with all ages.
Since 2016 I have been working in my own teaching practice and in addition to this I have also taught at various music schools and singing schools in North Holland and I have worked a lot at schools with groups of children on singing lessons and musicals.
I work according to the Universal Voice method, this method works fantastically and I even had to go back to school for it. In the meantime, I am completely up to date on all the new developments in the field of singing.

Photography
My love for photography arose from a bit of necessity. I had my own food blog and had to take pictures of my dishes. Like many others, the love for photography had been itching for a while and after a solo trip to the US in 2016 I was completely convinced – I was going to do something with this. Nice and vague, but eventually it happened!
Given my background in theater, I have a lot of experience with designing and telling a story. This is also reflected in my photography. My dream is to take more and more steps as a photographer in set photography, behind the scenes reports & portraits and marketing for creative entrepreneurs.
This may be a bit much, but I have never been good at doing just 1 thing. I have tried my best with singing, but once my enthusiasm is aroused I prefer to work on several things at the same time! And this is exactly how I work best, a bit of hecticness helps focus.

– While we are talking about cake – making red velvet wedding cakes & baking birthday cakes for friends and family
– Hiking. With friends and/or Mila, the dog.
– Besides singing and photography, one of my biggest hobbies is – series & films. I'm not really a sun lover, on a hot you'll most likely find me inside enjoying the airconditioning and a good movie.
– Yoga. Always with Adriene & Benji.
– 35mm prime lens & Nikon
– Musical theater songs! You can express all your big emotions in them, wonderful.
